Everything has its own time. Except for the music of William Byrd: a man for all seasons! The Lyons Mouth follows him through the liturgical year, from Advent to Advent, through feast days, Lent, and everything in between. Latin motets such as the poignant Vide Domine – written in a time of religious friction – form the core, while English madrigals and motets complement Byrd's image.
